En el año 2008, un buen amigo, colega, gran herpetólogo y compañero, Ricardo Cano Mateo, me reintrodujo en este maravilloso mundo. Me compraba mi primera Dendrobates, D. tinctorius "Brasil", la cual duró escasos 20 días y de ahí me prometí que no se me volvería a morir ninguna rana a excepción de las que Mama naturaleza elige para el gran viaje. Tras la Brasil, mantuve D. leucomelas y Phyllobates vittatus Eran mis últimos años de universidad. Coincidimos viviendo en el mismo piso junto a Rubén, y, bueno, ahí ya tenía en mi haber un par de terrarios reptiselva montados y madurando a modo de rack en estantería de hierro, la típica.
Tras eso, me regaló Ricardo una Agalychnis...pero me centré más y mejor en D. leucomelas, teniéndo una gran cantidad de crías. La madre me la vendió Ricardo. El padre era de Camaleo.
Un año más tarde partía a Chile y dejé montados los dos terrarios para que mis padres "sólo" mantuvieran una pareja que me había quedado de la descendencia de mi prolífera pareja inicial.
A mi regreso de Sudamérica, cambié las urnas que tenía por Terrarios Exoterra, los cuales presentaré en la sección terrarios. El conenido decorativo era el mismo o casi el mismo que el de mis urnas iniciales, cambiaban las condiciones de espacio y apertura.
En el año 2013 conseguí sacar unas 25 D. leucomelas. Actualmente tengo un trío (1.2) adulto y otro de hermanos de padre (1.2) casi maduro. A comienzos de 2014 me hice con más urnas y metí 2 Excidobates mysteriosus, y D. tinctorius "azureus" (1.2), las cuales ya son padres de una gran prole. Actualmente solo hay dos metamórficos, pero vienen más en camino.

In 2008, a great friend, colleague, great herpetologist and partner called Ricardo Cano Mateo re-introduced me in this amazing world. I bought my first Dendrobatid, a Dendrobates tinctorius "Brazil", which only lived 20 days. From then I promised to myself that no other frog would die except that be choosen by Mother Nature to make the big travel. After "Brazil", I also got D. leucomelas and Phyllobates vittatus.I was in the last years of university, and I live together Ricardo and Rubén...there I had two mature Reptiselva Terrariums on the tipical airon structure.
Months later, Ricardo gave me an Agalychnis...but I focused in D. leucomelas and I got a lot of new frogs. The mother was from the same Ricardo, and the male was from Camaleo Shop.
One year later, I traveled to Chile and I left both terrariums to my parents. They only had to care a couple of D. leucomelas and them both terrariums.
When I came back from South America, I changed new Exoterra terrariums instead of my old terrariums. I used the same materials from the "oldies" to build them. I will introduce them in the terrariums section.
In 2013, I got 25 new D. leucomelas from growing, Currently I have got a trio of D. leucomelas (1.2) and another one (1.2) of their "children". At the beginning of the 2014, I bougth 2 terrariums more, and I have got too 2 Excidobates mysteriosus and other trio of D. tinctorius "azureus" which have had a lot of tadpoles. Currently, there are only three metamorphic tadpoles.
